To iron on a patch, start with a clean and dry surface.
Preheat the iron to a medium-high setting, and place a light cotton cloth or thin T-shirt over the patch and garment to protect the fabric.
Apply heat and pressure for 30-60 seconds, then flip the garment and repeat on the back.
Let it cool completely before use or testing the edges.
If edges are lifting after cool, repeat the ironing instructions.
We recommend ironing on our patches and reinforcing them with stitches for added durability.
Iron-on transfer instructions
Transfers can be applied to cotton, silk, polyester, denim, nylon, leather and 50/50 blends, and work on both white and dark textiles, no pre-treatment needed.
Place transfer white-side down on your chosen garment.
Use the setting on your iron that corresponds to your garment’s fabric. Do not use a steam setting.
Lay a piece of parchment paper or thin cloth over the transfer, and press your hot iron as firmly as you can, moving it gently in circles to avoid burning the garment, for 20 seconds.
Peel off the transfer paper while it is still warm or wait 5 seconds after pressing.
Cover with parchment paper/cloth and press again for another 5 seconds.
Don’t wash the garment for 24 hours after application, and when you do, don’t use fabric softener; we’ve has success washing in cold water and hanging garments to dry.
