We are now accepting public submissions of fiction projects. This submission period is open from Mar 1 to Mar 31, 2025.
Good news: we’re reopening public submissions in March 2025. Things are going to look a little different this time around: we’ve got a brand-new submissions schedule.
Our first full season of titles is under our belt, and we’ve got more good reads coming your way in the first half of 2025.
Out of respect for Canada Post workers, we will not be shipping direct orders for the duration of the postal strike.

Hi! It’s been a few months now since we closed our submissions window, and we wanted to share an update. Short version: we’re still reading!
Our first list is broadly representative of the kinds of books we want to bring into the world with Assembly — we’ve got debuts, authors writing in new-to-them genres, established voices, unique formats — all oriented toward putting different voices in conversation with each other and with readers.
Got questions about your contract or how to find an agent? Want advice on the publishing process or book promotion? Look no further!
Here at Assembly, we’re in the “September is the real new year” camp. Now that school is back in session, our public submissions are open!
