At Assembly Press, we take pride in trying to minimize our environmental footprint, which is an ongoing challenge given that we work intensively with natural resources like pulp and water and shipping our finished products around the world.
We’ve been hesitant to increase the load by producing more things for people to consume, but we love our logo (big thanks to designer Natalie Piper), and as a start-up we’re always looking for ways to build brand awareness and generate a little bit of extra revenue.
We talked this all out with the excellent team at Northern Branding Studio, and the result is our first collection of DIY merch.

We’ve made patches and iron-on transfers for you to customize garments and bags and hats and anything else you can think of! Use them to refresh a piece of clothing that’s already in your closet or to spice up second-hand finds from your local thrift store.
Our hope is that playing with our images encourages you to get creative, to pick up or borrow tools (we dug out our old iron!), and most importantly, to have fun making something special just for you.
We’re also releasing a limited run of class pins. They’re sharp, shiny, and come with big benefits.
There are 25 pins available at the super-low price of $25, which gets you a lifetime 25% discount on Assembly purchases, free shipping, and more. They will never be this cheap again, so get them now while the getting is good! Help us build a sustainable press from the ground up! Give in to your love of shiny things! Read all the fine print over here on our Class Pins page, and then get yourself a pin before they sell out.
Yours in merchandising,
Team Assembly
